1/l8/19 Finally Got into the POOL.

Finally I made it into the pool for a class (actually 3) today.  I missed Monday and Wednesday due to other commitments. I arrived a bit early and joined the last ten minutes of the previous class (I am not sure what it was) and then I did AQUA STRETCH and DEEP END WORKOUT.   Pam arrived in time for the DEEP END WORKOUT.  After my shower, I met up with Betty and we walked a bit.  We decided to go to TOPS for a salad for lunch.

HOWEVER, when I got out to my car, I noticed something hanging off the rear tire.  When I tugged on it, it would not come out so I tossed it into the middle of the car, thinking it might be caught under the tire and if I drove away, I could get rid of it.  However, that did not happen and as I drove, I could hear it spinning around the tire. So, I called Betty and told her I was going to Hillmans to have it checked.  BUT, it must have come off right after that since the spinning stopped.  I went to Hillmans anyways and asked them to check it, and also redeemed the AAA coupon for the sixty dollar check up.   Betty met me there, and we got our salads and ate at Hillmans while my car was being checked.

They found two nails in the tire, so they removed them and put plugs in, also they replaced one of my windshield wipers.  Everything else is OK on my car.  I went to the library and read the last few days newspapers and picked up two books.  

Came home and rested in the afternoon, and started this book 
after returning a few phone calls.  I missed NIGHT OF WORSHIP at Faith Tab, it is just too cold to go out.

 I got to the church around ten forty a.m.   I asked Lou to let me in to the office area and he did.  I picked up the boxes of cards, list of names and the printed Christmas carols and then I went down to the basement and looked for the "sugars" for the tea.  I found a few.  Then I located the case of bottles of water, but it was heavy, so I located Lou again and he carried it to the kitchen.   Once I got back to the kitchen, I looked for more "sugars" but couldn't find any, so I went to the COFFEE BAR, and they filled a bowl with different types for me.  I got the silverware ready.  I opened up the packaging that held the tablecloths captive (I have had difficulty opening them in the past) so that they would be ready to go.  David and Jan both came at the end of the service.  Jan located the floral displays for the tables, and we started to put the red tablecloths on the tables.  By this time, we had a lot of other helpers.  They put napkins and plasticware at

Week of Sunday 9/10 through Saturday 9/16, 2023

 SUNDAY the 10th:  I went to church, which was very good.  The topic was: and then out to lunch with Lori and Marlene, at Kalamata's.  I had the turkey dinner.  I spent the rest of the day at home.  I talked with Mary and Peggy on the phone.  I did a bit of cleaning and straightening because tomorrow morning, Peggy and Betty are coming over to watch a Jack Hibbs video.   MONDAY:  September 11th, 2023, Betty, Peg and I met up at my house and watched the first of three videos of Jack Hibbs. speaking about DAZE OF DECEPTION.  It is excellent and we decided to meet again on Wednesday to watch part 2.   Then I went to the Y for the class for seniors called ENHANCE FITNESS.  We were all evaluated as to our speed doing certain activities.  Before leaving, I asked both Jan and Elaine if they wanted to go to LKPT ENERGY HOUSE for a shake.  They agreed, so we met up there.  While we were relaxing and drinking our shakes Captain Kendra D'Itillio of the Lockport Police came in and we chatt

Week Starting Sunday February 25th, 2024

 SUNDAY:  I started feeling kind of shaky and week during worship at church this morning.  So, I had to tell Marlene that I needed to go home after church instead of going to North Tonawanda with her.  Our plans had been to go to Joey's Place for lunch and then to the Riviera Theatre for the free organ concert by Camden Church.  I stopped at Mark's and got a slice of pizza to take home for my lunch.  It was not very good; I am sure it was left over from yesterday.  I found an episode of BROKENWOOD MYSTERIES on Hoopla and watched most of one episode until I started dozing off on the couch.  I spent the rest of the day resting at home, but I started working on planning for Thursday mornings FREEDOM GROUP, which I will be facilitating.   MONDAY:  I had my chiropractic appointment and then went to the Y where I walked 15 minutes and then used the recumbent bike for five minutes.
