I picked MA up this morning and took her to her new lawyers office. I went to the library for a few minutes and returned to wait for her.  After a while I was called into the office and presented with paperwork so that I can be POWER OF ATTORNEY in financial matters, along with Bianca.  I agreed and signed.  Then I took MA back to the Best Western and went home to 17.  A few minutes after my arrival the team from NYCAP came to do the audit on the house.  They were almost finished with the audit when Peg arrived and I left to pick MA up.  I took meatloaf sandwiches and we ate them quickly on a bench outside the BW.  Then we headed to Niagara Falls to Excelsior Orthopedic.  She was taken in right away and her cast was removed and she was given a splint/brace and told that she can drive.

We went back to Lockport and to her house where she got her car!

I picked Betty up a few minutes before six p.m. and we went to the COMMUNITY PICNIC at Lockport United Church of Christ.  It was a nice meal, hotdogs and burgers, salads, baked beans, etc. and deserts.  We saw Lydia there, along with her son Dante and Dante, Jr. (who I thought was a girl).

We decided to go down to WIDEWATERS and sit along the canal.  We actually did more walking than sitting, checking out the nature trail behind the restaurant.  It is very nice.

 I got to the church around ten forty a.m.   I asked Lou to let me in to the office area and he did.  I picked up the boxes of cards, list of names and the printed Christmas carols and then I went down to the basement and looked for the "sugars" for the tea.  I found a few.  Then I located the case of bottles of water, but it was heavy, so I located Lou again and he carried it to the kitchen.   Once I got back to the kitchen, I looked for more "sugars" but couldn't find any, so I went to the COFFEE BAR, and they filled a bowl with different types for me.  I got the silverware ready.  I opened up the packaging that held the tablecloths captive (I have had difficulty opening them in the past) so that they would be ready to go.  David and Jan both came at the end of the service.  Jan located the floral displays for the tables, and we started to put the red tablecloths on the tables.  By this time, we had a lot of other helpers.  They put napkins and plasticware at

Week of Sunday 9/10 through Saturday 9/16, 2023

 SUNDAY the 10th:  I went to church, which was very good.  The topic was: and then out to lunch with Lori and Marlene, at Kalamata's.  I had the turkey dinner.  I spent the rest of the day at home.  I talked with Mary and Peggy on the phone.  I did a bit of cleaning and straightening because tomorrow morning, Peggy and Betty are coming over to watch a Jack Hibbs video.   MONDAY:  September 11th, 2023, Betty, Peg and I met up at my house and watched the first of three videos of Jack Hibbs. speaking about DAZE OF DECEPTION.  It is excellent and we decided to meet again on Wednesday to watch part 2.   Then I went to the Y for the class for seniors called ENHANCE FITNESS.  We were all evaluated as to our speed doing certain activities.  Before leaving, I asked both Jan and Elaine if they wanted to go to LKPT ENERGY HOUSE for a shake.  They agreed, so we met up there.  While we were relaxing and drinking our shakes Captain Kendra D'Itillio of the Lockport Police came in and we chatt

Week Starting Sunday February 25th, 2024

 SUNDAY:  I started feeling kind of shaky and week during worship at church this morning.  So, I had to tell Marlene that I needed to go home after church instead of going to North Tonawanda with her.  Our plans had been to go to Joey's Place for lunch and then to the Riviera Theatre for the free organ concert by Camden Church.  I stopped at Mark's and got a slice of pizza to take home for my lunch.  It was not very good; I am sure it was left over from yesterday.  I found an episode of BROKENWOOD MYSTERIES on Hoopla and watched most of one episode until I started dozing off on the couch.  I spent the rest of the day resting at home, but I started working on planning for Thursday mornings FREEDOM GROUP, which I will be facilitating.   MONDAY:  I had my chiropractic appointment and then went to the Y where I walked 15 minutes and then used the recumbent bike for five minutes.
