February 14th and 15th, 2020

Yesterday (the 14th)  Betty picked me up and we went to the hospital for baked fish.  Their baked fish is INCREDIBLE!!!!!   I was unable to finish mine, so brought some home.

Today, Betty and I picked Myrna up and we all went to the breakfast at the Methodist Church.  It was very good.

Then we went to the LOCKPORT COMMUNITY  FARMERS MARKET at Harrison Place.  It was billed as their VALENTINES DAY MARKET.  Myrna had never been to this and she enjoyed herself.  Both Betty and Myrna made purchases, but I did not buy anything.  I saw a bracelet that I loved, but it was several layers and hard to get on and off so I declined.
 Old fashioned Valentines were on display on the tables.
                          I noticed this sign and liked it, but I did not sample any of the pickles.
                               Myrna and Betty both tried the BLACK GARLIC.  Myrna did not like i.



                                   There was live music by CARMEN AND LIZZY.
             Myrna tried nachos from PARKERS PIT BBQ.   She said they were a bit bland and also, she found a bone!


Then we went over to Peggy's house and I went in and care of Petra.  We called Peg before leaving because Betty noticed what looked like an open window in the upstairs bathroom.

Betty took me home first. She and Myrna planned to go back to Myrna's place and get some CREAMER that was spoiled when Myrna opened it a day or so ago, they will take it back to WalMart.

 I got to the church around ten forty a.m.   I asked Lou to let me in to the office area and he did.  I picked up the boxes of cards, list of names and the printed Christmas carols and then I went down to the basement and looked for the "sugars" for the tea.  I found a few.  Then I located the case of bottles of water, but it was heavy, so I located Lou again and he carried it to the kitchen.   Once I got back to the kitchen, I looked for more "sugars" but couldn't find any, so I went to the COFFEE BAR, and they filled a bowl with different types for me.  I got the silverware ready.  I opened up the packaging that held the tablecloths captive (I have had difficulty opening them in the past) so that they would be ready to go.  David and Jan both came at the end of the service.  Jan located the floral displays for the tables, and we started to put the red tablecloths on the tables.  By this time, we had a lot of other helpers.  They put napkins and plasticware at

Week of Sunday 9/10 through Saturday 9/16, 2023

 SUNDAY the 10th:  I went to church, which was very good.  The topic was: and then out to lunch with Lori and Marlene, at Kalamata's.  I had the turkey dinner.  I spent the rest of the day at home.  I talked with Mary and Peggy on the phone.  I did a bit of cleaning and straightening because tomorrow morning, Peggy and Betty are coming over to watch a Jack Hibbs video.   MONDAY:  September 11th, 2023, Betty, Peg and I met up at my house and watched the first of three videos of Jack Hibbs. speaking about DAZE OF DECEPTION.  It is excellent and we decided to meet again on Wednesday to watch part 2.   Then I went to the Y for the class for seniors called ENHANCE FITNESS.  We were all evaluated as to our speed doing certain activities.  Before leaving, I asked both Jan and Elaine if they wanted to go to LKPT ENERGY HOUSE for a shake.  They agreed, so we met up there.  While we were relaxing and drinking our shakes Captain Kendra D'Itillio of the Lockport Police came in and we chatt

Week Starting Sunday February 25th, 2024

 SUNDAY:  I started feeling kind of shaky and week during worship at church this morning.  So, I had to tell Marlene that I needed to go home after church instead of going to North Tonawanda with her.  Our plans had been to go to Joey's Place for lunch and then to the Riviera Theatre for the free organ concert by Camden Church.  I stopped at Mark's and got a slice of pizza to take home for my lunch.  It was not very good; I am sure it was left over from yesterday.  I found an episode of BROKENWOOD MYSTERIES on Hoopla and watched most of one episode until I started dozing off on the couch.  I spent the rest of the day resting at home, but I started working on planning for Thursday mornings FREEDOM GROUP, which I will be facilitating.   MONDAY:  I had my chiropractic appointment and then went to the Y where I walked 15 minutes and then used the recumbent bike for five minutes.
