TWO HIKE SUNDAY: March 15, 2020

Christa pretty much made me promise to not go to church today, due to the Corona Virus issue.  I agreed to stay home.    I watched the church service online, and it was very good.  We were supposed to host a group of Canadian students tonight, who were going to put on a play, but they cancelled.

Betty called me as soon as church let out and said "DO NOT take a nap, we are going hiking"  I agreed and she picked me up.  I had compiled a short list of possibilities and we chose to go to the TILLMAN ROAD WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA in Clarence.

It was not difficult to find.  The first part, which started at the area we parked in was a very nice boardwalk.
Then it turned into a well maintained path, which branched off.  We walked around a very large pond or maybe it was a small lake.

The last stretch of our walk was along the roadway, and we ended up back at the car.  Then we drove a bit further down  Tillman Road, and ended up going around in a circle, on other roads, until we got back to Tillman Road.

We backtracked and headed back towards the Transit and stopped at a parking area and trail which we noticed on the way to TWMA.  It turned out to be the Town of Clarence Bike Trail.
We decided to walk 9/10s of a mile down the trail and then back to the parking area, but we decided to stop at a half a mile.  It is a very nice trail.

On the way home, we stopped at CHIAVETTA'S  and we each took home a half a chicken and some cornbread.  It was very good.
