 I called Betty in the morning to remind her to use her OTC benefit from Univera. She told me that Liz was released from Roswell yesterday.  I uploaded pictures from Megan, Chris' and Cassy's trip to Lockport in the summer of 2001.  I am not sure who took the pictures, maybe Peggy.  

I made a chocolate cream pie for tomorrows dinner.  I decided not to go to Myrna's brothers internment this afternoon because the weather was terrible.  I watched FIVE EASY PIECES.  I think someone on the Daily Wire podcast said it was his favorite movie.  Well, it is NOT one of my favorite movies.  I thought I might like it because I have liked everything I have seen with Jack Nicholson.  

I took a nap and then prepared a pasta, cheese, meatball casserole for my supper, and had some rosemary bread and butter beans with that.  The casserole was good.  I froze some of the leftover and have another serving in the frig.  

Peg and I talked on the phone and set five p.m. for supper tomorrow night.  I watched the FRONTLINE episode about how awful Donald Trump was and is.  This documentary really does make him look quite awful, but I think it is at least somewhat skewed.   Of course, the good policies of DJT were not even mentioned.  At any rate, it is probably a good thing that he did not win the election.  I don't think the USA could take another four years of the hate and vitriol.  Mostly this documentary seemed to want to prove that DJT is guilty of promoting the storming of the capital.  DJT's statement at that final rally when he said be peaceful and patriotic was left out.   And now it appear that the attacks were planned ahead of time, which kind of lets DJT off of the hook.


  At any rate, it is probably a good thing that DJT did not win the election.  Another four years of the hate and vitriol would have been terrible for the USA.

I called Myrna and asked how things went today.  She said the internment service went very well and then the family went to THE FIELDSTONE for a meal.  She enjoyed seeing family members who she had not seen in years.  Stevie's son who is in the military, came all the way from Washington State.

 I got to the church around ten forty a.m.   I asked Lou to let me in to the office area and he did.  I picked up the boxes of cards, list of names and the printed Christmas carols and then I went down to the basement and looked for the "sugars" for the tea.  I found a few.  Then I located the case of bottles of water, but it was heavy, so I located Lou again and he carried it to the kitchen.   Once I got back to the kitchen, I looked for more "sugars" but couldn't find any, so I went to the COFFEE BAR, and they filled a bowl with different types for me.  I got the silverware ready.  I opened up the packaging that held the tablecloths captive (I have had difficulty opening them in the past) so that they would be ready to go.  David and Jan both came at the end of the service.  Jan located the floral displays for the tables, and we started to put the red tablecloths on the tables.  By this time, we had a lot of other helpers.  They put napkins and plasticware at

Week of Sunday 9/10 through Saturday 9/16, 2023

 SUNDAY the 10th:  I went to church, which was very good.  The topic was: and then out to lunch with Lori and Marlene, at Kalamata's.  I had the turkey dinner.  I spent the rest of the day at home.  I talked with Mary and Peggy on the phone.  I did a bit of cleaning and straightening because tomorrow morning, Peggy and Betty are coming over to watch a Jack Hibbs video.   MONDAY:  September 11th, 2023, Betty, Peg and I met up at my house and watched the first of three videos of Jack Hibbs. speaking about DAZE OF DECEPTION.  It is excellent and we decided to meet again on Wednesday to watch part 2.   Then I went to the Y for the class for seniors called ENHANCE FITNESS.  We were all evaluated as to our speed doing certain activities.  Before leaving, I asked both Jan and Elaine if they wanted to go to LKPT ENERGY HOUSE for a shake.  They agreed, so we met up there.  While we were relaxing and drinking our shakes Captain Kendra D'Itillio of the Lockport Police came in and we chatt

Week Starting Sunday February 25th, 2024

 SUNDAY:  I started feeling kind of shaky and week during worship at church this morning.  So, I had to tell Marlene that I needed to go home after church instead of going to North Tonawanda with her.  Our plans had been to go to Joey's Place for lunch and then to the Riviera Theatre for the free organ concert by Camden Church.  I stopped at Mark's and got a slice of pizza to take home for my lunch.  It was not very good; I am sure it was left over from yesterday.  I found an episode of BROKENWOOD MYSTERIES on Hoopla and watched most of one episode until I started dozing off on the couch.  I spent the rest of the day resting at home, but I started working on planning for Thursday mornings FREEDOM GROUP, which I will be facilitating.   MONDAY:  I had my chiropractic appointment and then went to the Y where I walked 15 minutes and then used the recumbent bike for five minutes.
