Wednesday January 20th, 2021

 I had my eye appointment this morning.  It went well.  I guess Dr. L forgot what he told me during my last appointment:  that he would be putting some kind of tubes in.  I remembered while I was there, but I did not mention it.  Maybe I don't need them anymore......................?  Anyways, he wants me to return in three months.

I then went to the Y and walked the track for about 20 minutes before going to THE CUTTING CREW.  I had called yesterday to ask what might be done to help me transition from looking terrible since I have stopped putting permanent hair color in my hair and plan to "go gray".   I talked to Laura who recommended a procedure for my whole head that involves highlighting all of my hair with gray, and when I brush it, it will blend together.................I am nervous about how this will look, but set an appointment time for tomorrow at 12;30, right after Peg's Life Group.  

There was a WOMENS PRAYER SERVICE tonight, but I decided not to attend.  

I picked up a book that I requested at the library before going to Royalton Center to get a take out spaghetti dinner and had half of that for my supper. It was very good.  I read and watched TV in the evening.  I talked to Peggy briefly on the phone.  Elaine called and we talked for a while. She has been measured for her new knee brace and is waiting for it to be made.  She and her sister are still planning to go to Florida in mid March for three weeks.   Betty called to tell me that she saw her eye doctor today and she needs to have a simple eye surgery in a couple of weeks.  

I looked for something offered by PBS on channel 100 (my on demand channel) and decided to try THE UNITED STATES OF CONSPIRACY

An updated version of this documentary was released on Jan. 11, 2021, following the Jan. 6 invasion of the U.S. Capitol by a pro-Trump mob.  I am hoping the one I am watching now is the updated version.

NOT THAT I am a fan of Alex Jones.  Years ago, I borrowed a password from a woman I met on Internet Relay Chat (Becky), but I don't recall being very impressed.  While I think he reveals SOME truth, for the most part he is a crackpot.  My nephew Marty follows him and I guess he believes him.

SUNDAY, December 11th, 2022 CONNECT CHRISTMAS LUNCHEON

 I got to the church around ten forty a.m.   I asked Lou to let me in to the office area and he did.  I picked up the boxes of cards, list of names and the printed Christmas carols and then I went down to the basement and looked for the "sugars" for the tea.  I found a few.  Then I located the case of bottles of water, but it was heavy, so I located Lou again and he carried it to the kitchen.   Once I got back to the kitchen, I looked for more "sugars" but couldn't find any, so I went to the COFFEE BAR, and they filled a bowl with different types for me.  I got the silverware ready.  I opened up the packaging that held the tablecloths captive (I have had difficulty opening them in the past) so that they would be ready to go.  David and Jan both came at the end of the service.  Jan located the floral displays for the tables, and we started to put the red tablecloths on the tables.  By this time, we had a lot of other helpers.  They put napkins and plasticware at

Week of Sunday 9/10 through Saturday 9/16, 2023

 SUNDAY the 10th:  I went to church, which was very good.  The topic was: and then out to lunch with Lori and Marlene, at Kalamata's.  I had the turkey dinner.  I spent the rest of the day at home.  I talked with Mary and Peggy on the phone.  I did a bit of cleaning and straightening because tomorrow morning, Peggy and Betty are coming over to watch a Jack Hibbs video.   MONDAY:  September 11th, 2023, Betty, Peg and I met up at my house and watched the first of three videos of Jack Hibbs. speaking about DAZE OF DECEPTION.  It is excellent and we decided to meet again on Wednesday to watch part 2.   Then I went to the Y for the class for seniors called ENHANCE FITNESS.  We were all evaluated as to our speed doing certain activities.  Before leaving, I asked both Jan and Elaine if they wanted to go to LKPT ENERGY HOUSE for a shake.  They agreed, so we met up there.  While we were relaxing and drinking our shakes Captain Kendra D'Itillio of the Lockport Police came in and we chatt

Week Starting Sunday February 25th, 2024

 SUNDAY:  I started feeling kind of shaky and week during worship at church this morning.  So, I had to tell Marlene that I needed to go home after church instead of going to North Tonawanda with her.  Our plans had been to go to Joey's Place for lunch and then to the Riviera Theatre for the free organ concert by Camden Church.  I stopped at Mark's and got a slice of pizza to take home for my lunch.  It was not very good; I am sure it was left over from yesterday.  I found an episode of BROKENWOOD MYSTERIES on Hoopla and watched most of one episode until I started dozing off on the couch.  I spent the rest of the day resting at home, but I started working on planning for Thursday mornings FREEDOM GROUP, which I will be facilitating.   MONDAY:  I had my chiropractic appointment and then went to the Y where I walked 15 minutes and then used the recumbent bike for five minutes.
