 I decided it would be a good day to drive out to FEEL RITE and purchase some of the digestive enzymes that I take regularly with meals (and I think they help a lot).   I called ahead and placed my order and they agreed to do a "curbside delivery".  I have seen a couple of items that I like, from OLD NAVY on my facebook feed, so I thought I might go there and see if they are available.

Unfortunately, I left my wallet laying on my kitchen counter, so I did not have any credit cards,  any money, my license or my AAA card. So, I couldn't buy anything at OLD NAVY.  I had a couple of WENDY'S gift cards so I stopped at Wendy's in Lockport and got a baked potato and a free seniors drink.  A couple of minutes before I arrived home, the little light signaling low tire pressure came on.  I had to go to the bathroom, so I continued on home, used my bathroom and located my wallet and then called Beauman's and they said to bring the car over, so I did. The technician said all four tires were down 4-7 pounds so he put air in all four.  As he told me, the little light went off about a half a mile down the road.

After lunch, I decided to do one job before napping.  I vacuumed my dining area and mopped that floor.  It took me close to an hour, and it looks pretty good.  I did a bit of rearranging in that room.  I guess the Dr. Pepper I had energized me.  I decided to settle into my recliner and watch the last episode of BULL instead of taking a nap.  I dozed off during BULL, and then listened to part of todays BEN SHAPIRO podcast. 

I decided to prepare fried rice for supper.  I had a little bit of leftover cabbage so I sauteed that with some chopped onion, and then scrambled a couple of eggs in the same pan and added the other ingredients:  rice,  mixed vegetables, chopped pork and a bit of teriyaki sauce.  It was pretty good.

I watched a bit of THE LYING GAME on CWSeed, but I don't really like it.  I looked at some tourist information for my upcoming trip to South Carolina and watched some TV.

 I got to the church around ten forty a.m.   I asked Lou to let me in to the office area and he did.  I picked up the boxes of cards, list of names and the printed Christmas carols and then I went down to the basement and looked for the "sugars" for the tea.  I found a few.  Then I located the case of bottles of water, but it was heavy, so I located Lou again and he carried it to the kitchen.   Once I got back to the kitchen, I looked for more "sugars" but couldn't find any, so I went to the COFFEE BAR, and they filled a bowl with different types for me.  I got the silverware ready.  I opened up the packaging that held the tablecloths captive (I have had difficulty opening them in the past) so that they would be ready to go.  David and Jan both came at the end of the service.  Jan located the floral displays for the tables, and we started to put the red tablecloths on the tables.  By this time, we had a lot of other helpers.  They put napkins and plasticware at

Week of Sunday 9/10 through Saturday 9/16, 2023

 SUNDAY the 10th:  I went to church, which was very good.  The topic was: and then out to lunch with Lori and Marlene, at Kalamata's.  I had the turkey dinner.  I spent the rest of the day at home.  I talked with Mary and Peggy on the phone.  I did a bit of cleaning and straightening because tomorrow morning, Peggy and Betty are coming over to watch a Jack Hibbs video.   MONDAY:  September 11th, 2023, Betty, Peg and I met up at my house and watched the first of three videos of Jack Hibbs. speaking about DAZE OF DECEPTION.  It is excellent and we decided to meet again on Wednesday to watch part 2.   Then I went to the Y for the class for seniors called ENHANCE FITNESS.  We were all evaluated as to our speed doing certain activities.  Before leaving, I asked both Jan and Elaine if they wanted to go to LKPT ENERGY HOUSE for a shake.  They agreed, so we met up there.  While we were relaxing and drinking our shakes Captain Kendra D'Itillio of the Lockport Police came in and we chatt

Week Starting Sunday February 25th, 2024

 SUNDAY:  I started feeling kind of shaky and week during worship at church this morning.  So, I had to tell Marlene that I needed to go home after church instead of going to North Tonawanda with her.  Our plans had been to go to Joey's Place for lunch and then to the Riviera Theatre for the free organ concert by Camden Church.  I stopped at Mark's and got a slice of pizza to take home for my lunch.  It was not very good; I am sure it was left over from yesterday.  I found an episode of BROKENWOOD MYSTERIES on Hoopla and watched most of one episode until I started dozing off on the couch.  I spent the rest of the day resting at home, but I started working on planning for Thursday mornings FREEDOM GROUP, which I will be facilitating.   MONDAY:  I had my chiropractic appointment and then went to the Y where I walked 15 minutes and then used the recumbent bike for five minutes.
