Monday 2/15 and Tuesday 2/16/2021

Monday:  Late morning, I went to the post office to mail a couple of items and then I dropped some of Mary Anne's paperwork off at her lawyers office.  I also went to Niagara Produce and purchased some bananas and some asparagus.  

I worked on trip plans and preparations and watched some of BRIDGERTON.  

Tuesday:  Mike and Dillon came over and shoveled my sidewalk.  I cleaned out an area between my driveway and my steps so that the mail carrier could get to my mailbox without climbing in or over a huge hill of snow left by the plow.  

I sorted through Peg's brochures, booklets, etc for the upcoming trip and also through mine, and threw out doubles.  Peg's are all back together in her bag.  

Betty called to say that she called SOLID ROCK and was told that the take out spaghetti dinner was still on, so I asked her to pick my dinner up and she agreed.  

I rested in my recliner and listened to Ben Shapiro, who is  my favorite conservative podcaster.  He talked about how the media might be embarrassed at the things Biden is doing, because they are so focused on what Trump is doing.

While I ate my spaghetti dinner, I listened to Sean Hannity who talked about how their were warnings ahead of January 6th when the capital was attacked (five warnings to the D.C. police) and he played the soundbite of AOC telling how she had been warned of trouble.  UNBELIEVABLE!   He makes it sound like we cannot blame DJT because it was all planned out ahead of time.  Nancy Pelosi has ordered an investigation and I hope the truth comes out, whatever it is.  

Betty brought me the book THE HARBINGER which I think I will read in Hilton Head.

SUNDAY, December 11th, 2022 CONNECT CHRISTMAS LUNCHEON

 I got to the church around ten forty a.m.   I asked Lou to let me in to the office area and he did.  I picked up the boxes of cards, list of names and the printed Christmas carols and then I went down to the basement and looked for the "sugars" for the tea.  I found a few.  Then I located the case of bottles of water, but it was heavy, so I located Lou again and he carried it to the kitchen.   Once I got back to the kitchen, I looked for more "sugars" but couldn't find any, so I went to the COFFEE BAR, and they filled a bowl with different types for me.  I got the silverware ready.  I opened up the packaging that held the tablecloths captive (I have had difficulty opening them in the past) so that they would be ready to go.  David and Jan both came at the end of the service.  Jan located the floral displays for the tables, and we started to put the red tablecloths on the tables.  By this time, we had a lot of other helpers.  They put napkins and plasticware at

Week of Sunday 9/10 through Saturday 9/16, 2023

 SUNDAY the 10th:  I went to church, which was very good.  The topic was: and then out to lunch with Lori and Marlene, at Kalamata's.  I had the turkey dinner.  I spent the rest of the day at home.  I talked with Mary and Peggy on the phone.  I did a bit of cleaning and straightening because tomorrow morning, Peggy and Betty are coming over to watch a Jack Hibbs video.   MONDAY:  September 11th, 2023, Betty, Peg and I met up at my house and watched the first of three videos of Jack Hibbs. speaking about DAZE OF DECEPTION.  It is excellent and we decided to meet again on Wednesday to watch part 2.   Then I went to the Y for the class for seniors called ENHANCE FITNESS.  We were all evaluated as to our speed doing certain activities.  Before leaving, I asked both Jan and Elaine if they wanted to go to LKPT ENERGY HOUSE for a shake.  They agreed, so we met up there.  While we were relaxing and drinking our shakes Captain Kendra D'Itillio of the Lockport Police came in and we chatt

Week Starting Sunday February 25th, 2024

 SUNDAY:  I started feeling kind of shaky and week during worship at church this morning.  So, I had to tell Marlene that I needed to go home after church instead of going to North Tonawanda with her.  Our plans had been to go to Joey's Place for lunch and then to the Riviera Theatre for the free organ concert by Camden Church.  I stopped at Mark's and got a slice of pizza to take home for my lunch.  It was not very good; I am sure it was left over from yesterday.  I found an episode of BROKENWOOD MYSTERIES on Hoopla and watched most of one episode until I started dozing off on the couch.  I spent the rest of the day resting at home, but I started working on planning for Thursday mornings FREEDOM GROUP, which I will be facilitating.   MONDAY:  I had my chiropractic appointment and then went to the Y where I walked 15 minutes and then used the recumbent bike for five minutes.
