I was still in bed this morning when Elaine called.  She asked me if I could help her and Nancy this morning.  Nancy just purchased a house and is in the process of moving in.  However, one of her cats bit her on the wrist and later on the same day or next day, while moving something heavy she banged that wrist on a doorway and broke a bone.  She is not supposed to be lifting anything.  Elaine has been her main helper and her knees are really bothering her.  I agreed to help.

After Elaine and I got to Nancy's house, we helped Nancy pack and move boxes into our cars.  We also took down curtains, etc.  Then we all drove separately to the new place and unloaded boxes and items into Nancy's garage.  Altogether, this took a little over three hours. Nancy's new house is a three bedroom ranch on a nice lot (Angela Lane) that has two interesting outbuildings, and a one car garage.  I didn't get to see the inside because Nancy is concerned about disturbing her cats who are getting used to their new home.

Shortly after I got home and was eating lunch, Peggy arrived and she worked down in the basement for a little while.

I took a nap in the afternoon, and did some housework and then settled in to watch the last three episodes of THE TROUBLE WITH MAGGIE COLE on PBS

.  Then I posted some pictures from the Letchworth trip on Facebook.
