SUNDAY March 20th, 2022 and Monday the 21st

 I picked Maggie up for church.  The sermon today was wonderful!  Pastor Craig talked briefly about his visit with Myrna, and how uplifting it was.  After church, Betty and I, Maggie and Jan went to THE OLIVE LEAF for lunch.  I had a burger and fries.  Then I went to Rite Aid and picked up the new bottle of eye drops that I will need after the right eye laser surgery next Friday morning.

I took a nap, I may have slept a full hour.  That was good since I did not sleep all tht well last night.  When I got up I had a light supper and finished off the Ben an Jerry's NETFLIX and CHILLz  Lactose free ice cream, but of course it is not really ice cream.  But it is pretty good.  

I started watching the first episode of the new season of CALL THE MIDWIFE.  Betty called and wanted help with homework for Tuesday's Bible study.  I called her back after MIDWIFE, but by then she had figured most of it out.

Christa had message me on FB and recommended two shows.  I found PIECES OF HER on netflix.  It looks like I started watching it before and quit.  I started it again.

I am really into this!

MONDAY  I started watching/listening to a video that Leslie sent me.  It is about what I have to refer to as a hidden agenda of the power elite regarding COVID and vaccines.   I was getting ready to go to my chiropractic appointment when Kevin Kopek called and asked if I might be able to find my most recent statement from American National.  I found it easily and dropped it off to him before going to Dr. Kurbs office.  After that I went to Niagara Produce since I all of a sudden got in the mood for meat loaf.  I also bought some boneless ribs.  I put them into the crockpot when I got home.  I found this painted rock at the cash register.  

I completed the video that Leslie recommended.  I tried to reach Pam by phone so I could invite her to supper at my house.  However, she is sick and was sleeping and did not get my messages until early evening.  Supper did not turn out as good as I thought it would: bbq ribs, baked beans and parsnips.  

I finished watching PIECES OF HER.  I worked on uploading pictures from the 1997 Disney Trip to flickr.

 I got to the church around ten forty a.m.   I asked Lou to let me in to the office area and he did.  I picked up the boxes of cards, list of names and the printed Christmas carols and then I went down to the basement and looked for the "sugars" for the tea.  I found a few.  Then I located the case of bottles of water, but it was heavy, so I located Lou again and he carried it to the kitchen.   Once I got back to the kitchen, I looked for more "sugars" but couldn't find any, so I went to the COFFEE BAR, and they filled a bowl with different types for me.  I got the silverware ready.  I opened up the packaging that held the tablecloths captive (I have had difficulty opening them in the past) so that they would be ready to go.  David and Jan both came at the end of the service.  Jan located the floral displays for the tables, and we started to put the red tablecloths on the tables.  By this time, we had a lot of other helper...

 SUNDAY:  I decided to go to TOPS before going to church, hoping to get some IRISH SODA BREAD.  They had it (right inside the front door) so I got it, and a couple of other items. Church was excellent, the sermon was about HELL!!!   After church I took my groceries home and put the garbage out and changed into jeans before meeting up with Glenda, Elaine and Betty at LaPorts.  They all had corned beef and cabbage, but I had the turkey dinner.  I brought most of it home.  Pam called and wanted me to go to a musical event at a church, but I really wanted to spend the rest of the day at home.  I had a nap.  I scanned some of Peggy's NURSING HOME MINISTRY at Mt. Week of Sunday September 8th through Saturday September 14, 2024 (new password info)

 SUNDAY:  I got up a bit earlier than usual today because I had things to do to get ready for the COUSINS GATHERING later on here at my house.  Church was very good.  I went to DOLLAR TREE and purchased three bags of ice before going home.  When I got home, I started setting the backyard up with chairs and tables and filled my good cooler with ice and drinks.  Gail arrived first and Peggy and David arrived a few minutes later. Then Mike arrived.  He gave us the sad news that his wife Janie was just diagnosed with breast cancer, after a routine mammogram, a second mammogram and then a biopsy.  He said it was caught very early and Janie seems to be accepting the news pretty well.   David set up his grill in the garage and I brought the meat out.  He seemed disappointed that I only provided FOUR (very large) hot Italian sausage.  I suggested we cut them in half, but he did not seem to want to do that.  He cooked both the hot ...
