WEDNESDAY March 16th, 2022

 I worked on uploading pictures from the 1997 trip to the Magic Kingdom that Peggy, Christa, Megan and I had.  I checked online and saw that the movie DOG is still at the Regal on Transit, so I called Betty to see if she wanted to go.  She had mentioned that she wanted to see the movie a few weeks ago.  We agreed to go to the 1:45 showing and to go to lunch before the movie.  She picked me up a little before 11:30 a.m.

First, we went to Peggy's house and I took care of Petra, and then to Key Bank so Betty could get some cash out of the ATM.   Then we drove to CRACKER BARREL for lunch.  There were a LOT of cars in the parking lot and I thought we might be told there was a very long wait, but we were told it would only be fifteen minutes so we decided to stay.  We looked around in the large gift shop until we were called to our table.  I chose the ham with broccoli and coleslaw.  We were given biscuits and corn muffins.  I was unable to finish all of my ham.  

Then we headed back north on the Transit to the theatre.  There were only about six or seven people who were there to see DOG.  It was very good. 


Then we went to BENDERS CHRISTIAN BOOK STORE in Clarence.  Betty wanted to buy a KJV Bible for Glenda who recently joined the Tuesday morning Life Group.  We took it to her at her house on Leete Road.
Betty dropped me off a few minutes before six p.m.  I had a light supper an went to bed early.  I was very tired.

 I got to the church around ten forty a.m.   I asked Lou to let me in to the office area and he did.  I picked up the boxes of cards, list of names and the printed Christmas carols and then I went down to the basement and looked for the "sugars" for the tea.  I found a few.  Then I located the case of bottles of water, but it was heavy, so I located Lou again and he carried it to the kitchen.   Once I got back to the kitchen, I looked for more "sugars" but couldn't find any, so I went to the COFFEE BAR, and they filled a bowl with different types for me.  I got the silverware ready.  I opened up the packaging that held the tablecloths captive (I have had difficulty opening them in the past) so that they would be ready to go.  David and Jan both came at the end of the service.  Jan located the floral displays for the tables, and we started to put the red tablecloths on the tables.  By this time, we had a lot of other helpers.  They put napkins and plasticware at

Week of Sunday 9/10 through Saturday 9/16, 2023

 SUNDAY the 10th:  I went to church, which was very good.  The topic was: and then out to lunch with Lori and Marlene, at Kalamata's.  I had the turkey dinner.  I spent the rest of the day at home.  I talked with Mary and Peggy on the phone.  I did a bit of cleaning and straightening because tomorrow morning, Peggy and Betty are coming over to watch a Jack Hibbs video.   MONDAY:  September 11th, 2023, Betty, Peg and I met up at my house and watched the first of three videos of Jack Hibbs. speaking about DAZE OF DECEPTION.  It is excellent and we decided to meet again on Wednesday to watch part 2.   Then I went to the Y for the class for seniors called ENHANCE FITNESS.  We were all evaluated as to our speed doing certain activities.  Before leaving, I asked both Jan and Elaine if they wanted to go to LKPT ENERGY HOUSE for a shake.  They agreed, so we met up there.  While we were relaxing and drinking our shakes Captain Kendra D'Itillio of the Lockport Police came in and we chatt

Week Starting Sunday February 25th, 2024

 SUNDAY:  I started feeling kind of shaky and week during worship at church this morning.  So, I had to tell Marlene that I needed to go home after church instead of going to North Tonawanda with her.  Our plans had been to go to Joey's Place for lunch and then to the Riviera Theatre for the free organ concert by Camden Church.  I stopped at Mark's and got a slice of pizza to take home for my lunch.  It was not very good; I am sure it was left over from yesterday.  I found an episode of BROKENWOOD MYSTERIES on Hoopla and watched most of one episode until I started dozing off on the couch.  I spent the rest of the day resting at home, but I started working on planning for Thursday mornings FREEDOM GROUP, which I will be facilitating.   MONDAY:  I had my chiropractic appointment and then went to the Y where I walked 15 minutes and then used the recumbent bike for five minutes.
