SUNDAY:  I met up with Connie at her place.  I was disappointed to find that her trailer is still not organized and still has boxes and items piled all over, but there is one section in her living room where shelving has been installed and the shelves hold lots of items, which IS an improvement. She suggested that we go for a walk and said she would take me to a new place she has found.  It turned out to be FORTIN PARK, which I have been to in the past, at least once with her.   We parked and walked in on the wide, well-maintained path.  We saw a trail off to the left and decided to walk down it.  We walked as far as we could, until it ended and then we walked back to the wide path.  We walked further into the park and were sitting on a bench when two men with a dog walked in the same way we came.  They turned out to be GEOCACHERS who were carrying ammo cams, with plans to hide them for the State Park Challenge.  Their dog was wearing a vest with a trackable number on it.  I know one

SUNDAY:  Church was very good, very crowded.  The sermon was the final one in the series about money. I started to feel a tiny bit shaky near the end of the service, so I left immediately instead of hanging around to see if anyone wanted to go out to lunch.  As I was driving down High Street, I noticed a small, but tall, wooden cabinet that had been put out to the curb. I turned around and parked and checked it out and decided to take it.  I was able to put it into the back seat of my car.  Before going home, I went to Niagara Produce and picked up a few items.  When I got home, I asked Ben if he and Jacob would carry it from the car into my bedroom.  Ben did it himself.  It needs some cleaning before I use it, and that may have to wait until after I get home from my Oneonta trip.   I spent the rest of the day at home, taking a nice nap, and watching television.  I got my meds ready to take with me when I leave on Friday. MONDAY:  First thing today, I moved my car out of the driveway

SUNDAY the 14th:  Jan called in the morning and said that she was unable to get sufficient sleep last  night because of her cat keeping her awake, so she would not be going to church today.  Church was very good.  After church there was a CONNECT (seniors) event.  I think there were about fifty seniors there.  I passed out new CONNECT DIRECTORIES and kept a list of who I gave them to.  Lunch was pulled pork, coleslaw and baked beans with several choices for dessert.  We had guest speakers.  Kerith McDonalds mother and aunt, who talked about their parent's missionary work in Vietnam.  I spent the afternoon at home, dozing off on the couch.  Connie called to tell me that AMERICA'S FUNNIEST VIDEOS comes on at seven p.m. on channel 7.  I called Pam and asked her if she wanted to go for a walk.  First, she said she did not know and talked about being concerned for her son's safety.  He is in the navy somewhere near the middle east.  Then she said she wanted to go and we agreed

SUNDAY:  While I was in the shower, Becky called and left a message telling me that her half-brother, Roger passed away.  He was 87 years old and died in a nursing home, which he has been in for a couple of years.  I picked Jan up for church this morning.  Church was very good.  When it was over, I took Jan to PetSmart so she could get some cat food and then dropped her off at her place.  Then I went to THE OLIVE LEAF and had lunch with Marlene, Glenda, Marsha and her daughter Colleen. I had one of the specials: a "melt" with pulled pork and bacon and I think a slice of cheese, with fries  It was very good.  When I got home, I started my homework for Tuesday's LIFE GROUP and then took a nap.  When I got up I thought taking a walk outside might be good.  I called Betty but had to leave a message because she did not answer.  I decided to drive to OUTWATER PARK to check out the barriers that have been put up to keep tourists coming to see the eclipse from driving onto the g
