 SUNDAY the 24th:   Church was very good this morning and after that there was a spaghetti dinner and basket raffle in the small sanctuary to raise money for the men who are going to Southern Mexico on a mission trip early next year.  The number of people who went was kind of low.  I bought twenty dollars worth of tickets even though I didn't see anything that I really wanted because I wanted to support the mens group.  Elizabetty won THREE baskets.    I won a gift certificate for twenty dollars for COUSINS CAFE, so I got my twenty dollars back.  Lori won a certificate for a shampoo and haircut.  Glenda didn't win anything.  Marlene didn't buy any tickets, and she left before the drawing.  Before going home, I went to ALDI to get milk and Cool Whip, but they did not have any Cool Whip.  I need it for the chocolate cream pie I will make on Thanksgiving morning.  In the evening I found the show HOW IT REALLY HAPPENED on...

 SUNDAY:  Church was VERY good.  I dropped off the final two OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD BOXES.  After church, Marlene, Glenda, myself, Andrea and her friend Liz met up at LaPorts for lunch.  I had the small smoked pork chop dinner, and brought part of the chop home along with one piece of garlic toast. I had a nap in the afternoon, and spent the rest of the day at home.  I messaged back and forth with Megan in the evening, regarding politics.  We are on totally different wavelengths.  SUNDAY:  I called Elaine to tell her that I have a very busy week ahead and don't think I should add in the turkey dinner at the Cambria Church on Wednesday.  Church was very good.  After church Glenda, Betty, Marlene and I went to LaPorts for lunch.  We invited Andrea Hayes but she said she was broke, but she wants to join us next Sunday.  I had the grilled chicken dinner, which was very good, and I brought most of my chicken home.  I spent the rest of the day at home.  I watched the movie TAKEN, took a nap, and called Jan since she did not come to church this morning.  She has had a headache all day .  I looked up information about how to renew my passport and I think I might be able to take care of it at the Niagara County Clerks Office on Hawley Street.  I think I will go there tomorrow morning.  I decided to start a spiral notebook and record important things I do so that I can refer to them if necessary.  I did that...

 SUNDAY:  I got plenty of sleep last night because I went to bed earlier than usual since I skipped my Saturday nap and also getting an extra hour due to pushing the clocks back an hour.  I was getting ready for church when Peggy called to remind me that I had a small batch of cookies in my freezer that I agreed to take to the reception for Nina Leong after church.  I took it out of the freezer right away.  When I got to church first I dropped off one of my Operation Christmas Child boxes and then I took the cookies  downstairs to the room where the reception was going to be held, and I asked Peg if she needed any help.  She suggested that I come down right after church and maybe I could help.  When I got into the sanctuary, I encouraged several people (Glenda, Carol, Maggie, Catherine, Marlene and I think a couple of others) to come to the reception.  Church was very good.  Marlene's daughter, Christiana, surprised her by arriving a cou...
