Week of Sunday, March 15 through Saturday March 21st, 2026

SUNDAY:   Church was very good.  After it was over, six of us (me, Glenda, Carol, Dee Man, Marlene and Linda Stein went to THE OLIVE LEAF for lunch.   Glenda, Carol and I had the corned beef and cabbage, HUGE servings and I brought most of it home with me.  I spent the rest of the day at home, relaxing.

MONDAY:  I spent the entire day at home, in my pajamas.  I cleaned the second bedroom and got it ready for Leslie to stay in, since she is coming in a couple of weeks for a few days.  I also vacuumed the kitchen, dining area and living room and picked up various items and put them away.  In the evening, Andrea called to ask if I wanted to go see the movie HE CALLS ME DAUGHTER, one of Karen Vaughn's WNY Christian Women's events.  Also, we will go to SOLID ROCK for spaghetti tomorrow night.  She will have the twins with her, and I will give her a hand.  I did my homework for tomorrows LIFE GROUP, including the three extra verses that Cindi asked us to read.

TUESDAY:   Life Group was very good this morning.  Our usual group of eight or nine showed up, even in spite of the awful weather.  It was cold, snowy and wind blowing.  I did not go out to lunch today because of my plans to go to Solid Rock for spaghetti tonight.  I spent the afternoon at home and took a nap.  Andrea and the twins (Ella and Lucy) picked me up about 4:45.  One of the twins had a small mishap, she tipped her tray while checking out the deserts and her meatball rolled off onto the floor.  She picked it up with a napkin and took it to the trash.  I went up and got ner another meatball.  I picked up a spaghetti dinner for Elaine and we dropped it off at her house before Andrea brought me home.

I found the movie RADIO FLYER on YouTube, which Tom Hanks narrates.  Peggy called and we firmed up plans for going out for Easter dinner.

WEDNESDAY:  I went to PANERA before going to the Y.  My favorite drink is available with the other drinks rather than being something I have to get from a worker over the counter.  This will make things quicker and easier in the future.  M and M went well.  Denise and Nick competed with each other at our request.

I don't know why I am slower than everyone else in the EXERGAMING part.  While doing it, it seems like I am moving as fast as whoever I am next to, but my score is always much lower.  But today, I was able to use the ball to balance on instead of the noodle which I used last week because I felt so unstable.  There were eight of us there today.  The art part went well, too and I was able to do an extra canvas since I finished my two that I started last week.  I took a picture after I put them on display at home.  After "Makers" was over Peggy went to her BOOM class and Andrea and I walked the track and used the recumbent bikes.  Then the three of us went over to FREEDOM for a prayer session, which went very well.  I stopped at Lil Caesers on the way home and got the LUNCH SPECIAL, so I had two pieces of pizza for lunch along with some of my iced tea.  I spent the rest of the day at home.  David and Peggy came over and he put the piece of glass back up on the front porch.  It became loose yesterday when it was windy. At home after lunch, I boxed up my postcard collection for Megan.  I saved our a few postcards to send to Tyler.

THURSDAY:   I ran several errands, including getting a drink at Panera's before meeting up with Pam at the Y, where we walked for a half hour or a bit more.  I spent the afternoon home and got things ready for supper since I invited Pam over, and I took a nap.  I served soup, crackers and cheese and deviled eggs for supper,  Pam brought donuts for desert.  We watched the movie O SOLO MIO on Angel Studios and we both enjoyed it.

FRIDAY:  I met up with Peggy at the Y and we walked the track for over a half an hour.  Then we went to the FIELDSTONE for lunch.  I spent the rest of the day home, mostly relaxing.

SATURDAY the 21st. I had a really wierd nights sleep last night.  It felt like it took hours to fall asleep, but I think I may have dozed off several times and woke up several times.   In the morning, I met up with Vicki and Louise at the Lockport Community Farmers Market which is being held at the Dale Association during cold weather.  We had a nice time and each of us made a couple of purchases.

I bought two oatmeal raisin cookies and some honey. After leaving the Dale, Vickie and I went to Papa Leo's for a slice of pizza.  I spent the rest of the day at home. I decided to clean out the small closet between the living room and the bedroom, but after I started that, I realized that I had done so fairly recently.  I had a nice nap in the early afternoon.  Later on,  I sorted through some folders and papers that have accumulated on the bookshelves in my dining area, and got them in better order.
