LOSSON NATURE TRAILS at Steglmeier Park in Cheekowaga and ELVIS October 26, 2019

Betty and I went to Cheektowaga to go to the Losson Nature Trails at Steglmeier Park.  Neither one of us had ever been there.  We found it easily enough and acquired maps from a plastic case outside of the front office.

We decided to start out on the HUMMINGBIRD trail which is easy since it is wheelchair accessible, because it leads to other trails.  The map was very helpful and we were able to figure out a way to leave the woods and come out near where we were parked.  Here are a few pictures.

We saw several deer on the DEER RUN TRAIL
                            and a couple of squirrels.
LOSSON is really beautiful and especially so in the fall.

We went to CORE LIFE EATERY for lunch.  We each had the lunch special which was a "create your own bowl" with a side.  The tomato basil soup was very good and so was the bowl, which included steak!
I could hardly made a dent in my bowl.  We went to PAULA'S for a donut and hot drink, using one of the coupons I got out of Peggy's coupon book.

In the evening.  Betty and I met up with Marlene at the elementary school in Gasport for the ELVIS WADE concert.   It was excellent!    Becky was there and wanted her picture taken with Elvis.  She gets her picture taken with Wade every time she sees him.

Betty and I went to Papa Leo's for a slice of pizza before heading home.  What a great day it was!!!!!
