LOCKTOBERFEST 2021 (October 2, 2021)
I worked on getting stuff together for the ASP trip in the morning. Then I met up with Peggy and David at LOCKTOBERFEST,
which was being held in the usual spot for the Lockport Community Market. There were a LOT more vendor and food offerings, etc. than the market usually has.
The CATHOLIC HEALTH table offered free bags and lots of free items including hand sanitizer, hand wipes, pens, etc.

Just before I left I saw the DOUBLE UP guy setting up this table.
I asked him if he had any FREEBIES. He said I would have to answer a trivia question first, and I agreed. The question was "what was the first vegetable grown on the moon?" I don't think any vegetables were ever grown on the moon, but I guessed potatoes and he said that was correct. He then told me to take as many of the freebies that I wanted. I took a grocery bag and small pouch.
Peg and I both signed one of the large Christmas cards that go to service men and women.
There was LIVE music.

The three of us had lunch together. I had a hot dog from the ROTARY table. Peg had an empenada, and David had a loaded grilled cheese from Maverick Farms. Before I left, I purchased a blueberry empanada to take home.
This is most of the stuff I brought home.
I bought the gourds and the ciabatta rolls and the empanada in the white bag in the front, and got the two bags and some other stuff free.

I continued sorting and packing, and made potato salad and did laundry. I called Becky and left a message asking her to call me back so we can set a date to go to Clymer, NY.
