12/17 Shopping and Concert

NYSEG came and the guy said there is nothing wrong with the meter.   Shortly after he left, I headed out to get Christmas groceries.  First to Aldi where I purchased the ham and a few other items.  Next to WalMart where I purchased some items that I could not get at Aldi and then to TOPS.  At TOPS, I was mainly looking for ALMOND PASTE for a recipe I saw this morning on FB.  TOPS did have it, and it was on sale which is good since it is kind of expensive.  Then I delivered the ham to David who will prepare it on Christmas Day, and then bring it to my house for our Christmas dinner.

I forgot to mention that when I stopped to get gas, my USBANK card was rejected.  So, when I got home, I called and was told that there had been problems with the mail, that other people have called about them, and that may be the reason why I did not get my bill and pay it.  I was told the amount and I agreed to pay it online thru my bank and then to call back when I get the next bill and request removal of the fees and penalties.

I met up with Marlene, Betty and Elaine at the First Presbyterian Church at seven p.m. for the organ concert.

Dee was going to join us, but she could not get warmed up after her doctors appointment earlier today.  I also invited Lori Rivers, but she did not get back to me in time.

It was a really good event.  We stayed for refreshments after, they offered warm mulled punch and cookies.

After I left the church, I drove down Hawley Street to see the well decorated house.
