 SUNDAY:  After church, Marsha, her daughter Colleen, Lori and I decided to go out for lunch.  We had a hard time deciding which place to go, but finally decided on DENNYS.  I arrived first and the parking lot was NOT full, but as I waited for the others, people kept coming and I could see lots of tables waiting to be cleaned up and workers rushing around, so I decided that they were probably understaffed.  I went back out to the parking lot to wait for the others.  Marsha and Colleen drove in and I suggested we go to Arby's next door.  They drove over, and I waited for Lori.  She did not want to go to Arbys since she was there a day or so ago, so she and I decided to go to APPLEBEES, and I went over to Arbys to tell Marsha and Colleen, who had already ordered and were waiting for their food.  I apologized for all the changes.  Lori and I met up aet Applebees, and we both had the meal deal special, a drink fries and either a burger or ch...

 SUNDAY:  I got to church kind of early, and Maggie joined me.  We talked about our trip to ALLEGANY, and she is so excited.  I am so glad that she decided to join me and that she is so happy  to be going.  Jan and Kat joined us.  They talked all through the worship, how irritating.  Marlene also joined us.  Cindi came over to tell me what little she knows about how Glenda is recovering at home after her surgery.  She spent one night in the hospital, and her daughter is staying with her now.  I asked Marlene if she wanted to go out for lunch after church and she said she was not sure.  When church ended, she asked if it would be just her and I going having lunch together.  I don't know if this means she wanted it to be just her and I or if there is someone she wants to avoid being with or something else.  But by that time I had remembered that I had enough leftover corned beef, potatoes, carrots and cabbage for two an...

 SUNDAY:  I was up until three p.m. this morning, (unwinding from my trip) but I forgot about the time change, so it was really four p.m.  I had started a load of laundry and fire up my ROKU TV and found a movie I started to watch on the first flight yesterday THE QUIET GIRL, but all of a sudden around the time the clock said three a.m., I started to crash and went to bed a few minutes later.  I slept four hours and then got up and used the bathroom and found a VDH podcast and listened to the first few minutes before I fell asleep again.  I found this mornings sermon online and put it on.  I got a few more hours sleep and I think I woke up around eleven a.m. but I thought it was ten a.m. because of the SPRING AHEAD clock chance that took place a few days ago.  I spent the day at home, working on unpacking and this blog and uploading pictures to Flickr.  Friday March 7th, 2025   DAY ONE OF THIS TRIP/CRUISE I got up early VERY EARLY and got to Betty's house a little before four a.m.  After some careful maneuvering of luggage, six of us piled into her minivan with our luggage and it was very crowded.  Got to the airport on time, checked in, and got in line to go through customs or whatever they call it.  Got to our terminal and waited about an hour until we could line up to get on the plane.  Very small plane.  Sue and I shared a three seater with a young man.  Light snacks and drinks served, short flight, got to Chicago just fine.  Long walk to our terminal.  I decided to purchase some food at a bakery across from our terminal:  a banana, piece of cheese and a cranberry/lemon scone.  SUNDAY:  Church was excellent this morning, as usual.  After church, Glenda, Lori, Andrea and I went to Applebee's for lunch.  Glenda and I did the "two for $26" since we both really like the grilled chicken meal.  I went directly home after lunch and spent the rest of the day at home.  After resting, I finished getting my CARRY ON BAG packed with the necessities including all of my meds and supplements, my good jeans and one pair of capris, three short sleeves tops, one sweater, one pajama bottom and some underwear and socks.  Also, my green hat.  I will put my personal items such a as shampoo, conditioner, etc. into my backpack.  I also emailed Carrie's case manager, and her house manager and medical liaison about my plans with Bob's phone number in case they have any concerns.  I called Bob and left a message that he will be on call while I am away.   MONDAY:  First thing this morning, I got a haircut at SUPERCUTS....
