WEEK of February 1st, 2026 through Saturday the 7th.

SUNDAY February 1st:   I took Andrea's laundry over to her before going to church and she gave me another bag of stuff to wash and dry.  I was a bit early for church, and talked with Marlene in the lobby until the earlier service ended.  After church, Marlene, Linda and I went to LaPorts for lunch.  I had the turkey dinner, and brought about half of it home.

MONDAY the 2nd of February:  I got up somewhat earlier than usual and got ready for my day.  I had made a list of things I needed to do and it helped a lot.  First, I tried to reach Andrea to work out a time to drop off her clean clothing.  I left a message.  First I went to NorthWest Bank and caused the check from Dr. Schler.  Then I went to the Kenan Center and turned in my vouchers for the free tickets to THE LITTLE PRINCE.  Then I went to the Dollar Tree for a couple of items I needed, and then to Panera for a drink and then to my chiropractic appointment, and then I met up with Pam at the Y and we walked about a half an hour or so.  Then I went home and had lunch and took a nap.  When I got up, I got ready to go to Cammarotta's for the presentation and meal I signed up for a couple of days ago. I dropped Andrea's clean laundry off to her before going.   Pam, Dee Man and Peggy joined me there.  The presentation was about stem cell treatments.  It was interesting, and the New York Strip Steak was delicious!!!!

TUESDAY: I showered and washed my hair and then  I made a couple of phone calls hoping to meet up with someone at the Y to walk the track, but I was not successful.  So, I stayed home in the morning and packed a few boxes to put into storage.  I had lunch before heading to the hospital for my appointment with Dr. Basra.  I don't think she is very happy with my request for her to order prescriptions for all of my supplements.  The weather was really unpleasant when I left the hospital to go to my car, so I decided to NOT go to WalMart as I had planned.  However, things cleared up a minute or two later so I decided to go to Aldi's.  I spent over sixty dollars and I am happy that they had chuck roasts for seven dollars a pound since they were ten dollars a pound at Niagara Produce.  I rested when I got home and then prepared chicken and dumplings for supper.

WEDNESDAY:  Peggy called early and asked if I could pick her up on my way to the Y.  Andrea was going to pick her up, but she is sick.  Peg and I were the first to arrive, and the others came soon.  Peg, me, Lori, Julie, Susan, Cindi, Brenda and Rita.  So, eight of us.  The exergaming went pretty well.  The art part was a easier, relaxing and better. We used acrylics.  Then Peggy and I went to the church and prayed together.  I spent a lot of time in the kitchen  making pickles (from a fresh cucumber which I put into pickle juice), washing the carrots and potatoes and setting up my crockpot for tomorrow, since Peggy and David will be coming for supper.  I had a nice nap and prepared baked potato, grilled zucchini and homemade chicken nuggets.  I made a macaroni salad to take to the senior event tomorrow.

THURSDAY:  In the morning, I made an IMPOSSIBLE PIE and put all of the ingredients for supper into two crockpot.  Potatoes, onions, chuck roast etc. into my largest crockpot and the carrots, (in cider) in my smallest crockpot. I went over to the Y and arrived at 12:15.  Several people (about six) were already there with Tammy (she seems to be the new leader of the seniors activities) and they were discussing various ideas for future events.  A couple more people arrived, one of them definitely NOT a senior.

We had a nice meal and then played BINGO.  I won twice and got two workout towels (to use to mop up sweat while working out).  I stopped at PANERA and got a drink and then came home.  I laid down, but I am not sure that I feel asleep.  When I got up, I finished working on supper and Peggy and David arrived a couple of minutes after five thirty.  We had roast beef, potatoes, carrots, gravy and corn and DeCamillo's bread.  For desert Impossible Pie and  and the ambrosia salad that Deb had made for the event, and she had given it to me at the end.  Peggy really loved that.

FRIDAY:  I picked up tickets for BEATLEMANIA at Cindi's house to take to Peggy.  We went together to Dent Neurological to meet up with Carrie and Zoe.  By checking messages on my home phone, I found that they could not find a parking spot at Dent.  Peggy went down to flag them down, and she brought Carrie up to the second floor. I told the front desk what the situation was, since by this time it was about twenty minutes past the appointment time.  When Carrie arrived, I got the intake process started and we only had to wait a few minutes before we were taken in.  Zoe never found a parking spot.  We took Carrie down to the lobby and I watched her while Peggy went out to find her.  Peg and I stopped at the BIG Niagara Produce so she could get some food items for her upcoming event on Sunday.  Then we went to the church where we ate lunch (from Subway) and I helped her take items from the office down to the kitchen so they will be handy for Sunday.  When I got home, I took a nap.  Shortly after I got up, I headed over to Peggy and Davids house.  David had prepared stuffed peppers and they were the absolute BEST stuffed peppers I have ever had.  After dinner, we watched a couple of shows FRASIER and HOUSE (about tiny houses).

SATURDAY:   I did household stuff in the morning.  I met up with Pam, Peggy and David at the Kenan Theatre and we watched the play THE LITTLE PRINCE.  *using the four tickets that I won playing BINGO during GOLDEN ACRES last week.*

David said it was very good, but Peggy, Pam and I were not at all impressed.

The stage before the play started.

The actors (mostly actresses) came out at the end for pictures.

Then I went to WalGreens since I was all out of laundry detergent.  I picked up my Viberzi.
