The next time someone says “you voted for a 34 time convicted felon” just show them this. First of all, the statute of limitations was way overdue. Second, all 34 counts of the same exact crime are misdemeanors in the state of New York, unless there was an “underlying crime” to make them felonies. The state’s case never proved, beyond a reasonable doubt, what the underlying crime was. Next, each crime, according to NY constitutional law, has several different elements to that specific crime, all of which also need to be proven beyond a reasonable doubt and they were not. Then, the prosecution HAS TO give the defense details of the specific elements that were violated in order to mount the defense strategy. That wasn’t done either. And finally, during a jury trial, the jury’s decision HAS TO BE unanimously decided and approved by all 12 members of the jury, as to if the specific elements of the accused crimes were in fact committed BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT! The jury was given 3 extremely vague charges and told that a unanimous decision was not necessary, and if only the majority could agree, that would due. Libtards have tiny brains, so it may be difficult for them to comprehend all of this.
