SUNDAY: I feel somewhat better this morning and am going to church. I don't think I would be feeling this good without the medicine, though. Church was very good, and then seven of us went to THE OLIVE LEAF. Me, Lori, Marlene, Glenda, Carol, Vicki, Louise. While I was there, I retrieved a text from Andrea asking if I wanted to go to Olcott after church. I texted her that I would be OK with going later on, around six p.m. and after a while, she agreed. However, we left around five fifteen. I had put together some geocaching information, so we stopped at the Van Horn mansion to look for what should have been easy, but we did not find it. We spent some time at Olcott Beach, but the shops and beach were closed. Andrea took these pictures.
When we decided to leave, we were both hungry. I offered to treat Andrea to supper for her birthday which was a week ago. We ended up at CAFORA's and we shared chicken wings and a PONZONE. Both were very good.
MONDAY the 22nd: In the morning, I did a load of laundry and a few other household tasks. Paula picked me up at 12:15 and we went to the Harrison Cafe in the Harrison Building (which used to be a huge factory that made Chevrolet radiators, etc.) It was a little disappointing since it wasn't even fully set up like the online pictures show, and there were not any choices. One soup, ONE sandwich, but I think Paula had a choice of salads. Everything was really good, though. Paula came in and looked at some of my Alaska pictures. I decided to make some banana muffins before my nap. I AM TOTALLY OUT OF BISQUICK! This is a kitchen emergency!!!!
TUESDAY. Life Group was very good. I decided to NOT go out to lunch with the others because I really needed to go to FeelRite to get some LACTO and DIGEST GOLD. I kind of lucked out at FeelRite today. There was a woman sitting at a table and it looked like she was giving out samples of something. I was in a hurry, so I avoided passing by her. But, after I got my items, and was walking to the cashier in the front, she saw that I had ENZYMEDICAL products and told me she had coupons for me. She gave me two coupons, each for three dollars. Then the cashier applied a ten dollar birthday credit to my charge, in addition to the coupons. Then the woman who gave me the coupons offered me an Enzymedica bag and pointed out that there were a couple of freebies available on the counter, so I took one of each: one is a snack bar and the other is a seaweed snack. Also, I got another Enzymedica pill case! I had a short nap. I made blueberry pancakes for my supper, WITHOUT BISQUICK, using a recipe for ONE that I found online. They were very tasty. I watched BABY BROKERS on PBS, in the evening.
WEDNESDAY: Andrea and I went to BARKER SENIORS this morning. We missed the exercise part because we arrived late. The live music was good today, but I may have been the only one who thought so.

Two ladies at our table complained about it. The meal (pork and sweet potato) were pretty good. Birthday cake was served, but I don't know whose birthday we were celebrating. I ran into Becky there and she asked me if I could take pictures on my phone of some Pyrex items and find out what they are worth. I told her I could take pictures but that I don't know how to find out what things are worth. She also told me that she needs another surgery on her face or neck. As if I would have spread time to do that. When I got home, I took a nap. I decided to go to WalGreens to pick up the prescription that Dr. Basra called in for me. After doing that, I went to the library to return two books and pick one up, and then to NorthWest Bank and got some cash out of the ATM, and then I picked up three slices of pizza at PIZZA OVEN, but I only ate two of them, after taking off the pepperoni and some of the cheese. I decided to watch a documentary that Peggy recommended NO PLACE ON EARTH. It is about Jews hiding in a cave in Ukraine during the holocaust. It is very good. Then I found the docudrama DENIAL, true story about Deborah Lipstadt who wrote several books. Apparently, she cited a famous holocaust denier and he sued her for defamation. VERY GOOD MOVIE!!!.
THURSDAY the 25th: I slept great last night, after taking two Tylenol PM. I spent the entire day at home. I had set a few goals to complete a few small tasks and I completed them. The most important task was getting my medications ready for the trip to Auburn and the Adirondacks. I think I completed it except I need to get some Pepto Bismol to take with me in case I need it.
FRIDAY: In the morning, I took all of my California trip pictures out of the album. I threw several away. I rubberbanded them together and I hope that eventually I will scan them into my Flickr account. I messaged Marlene about the informational meeting at the Dale Association regarding the CONNECT bus service. I went to the Dale at noon and I was the first person there, but people begin to arrive shortly, including Marlene and Lori. The meeting was very good. I asked Marlene if she wanted to go out for lunch when the meeting was over, and she agreed and we chose PANERA. After lunch, I went to the library and picked up a book, returning another. When I got home, there was a FB message and a phone message from Lori asking if I wanted to go to a revival meeting in Sanborn. I agreed to meet her there at seven. laid down for a rest, but I am not sure if I fell asleep or not, since I had Dr. Pepper with my lunch. I got up in time and got ready and met up with Lori and her friend, Maria, at the location of the revival. I had been there another time several years ago for the same even. The service was VERY good and I enjoyed it. When it was over, they set tables up in the shelter and there was a walk through buffet serving burgers, hot dogs, and other picnic food and desserts and drinks. The three of us ate together. I left when I was finished eating, even though the cake and ice cream (to celebrate the pastors 25 years of service) was served. I had already had a large piece of pineapple upside down cake and was not at all hungry.
SATURDAY: Vicki came over and she and I walked to the small church on Ontario Street and then back, taking a circular route. It was terribly hot out there and I was glad to get home and put my air conditioning on. I swept the kitchen and dining areas and vacuumed the living room.
