 SUNDAY:   Church was especially good this morning.  I came home right away instead of going out to lunch.  Marlene, Glenda and Carol were planning on going.   I had a quick lunch and then laid down for an hour until it was time to get ready for the movie.  Sandy (who I had never met) picked me up and we met up with Andrea and Carol at Andrea's place.  Andrea drove and we picked Linda up at her place on Locust Street.  We went to the Maple Ridge Theater in order to see I CAN ONLY IMAGINE 2.  However, when we got to the place to show our tickets, we were told that the heat is not working in the theater that is showing that movie.  Andrea was given a refund and five free tickets for a future movie.  We went to the REGAL TRANSIT where we arrived a couple of minutes before the movie started.  Carol bought a HUGE tub of popcorn which we all shared.  We had planned to go to THE RED PEPPER which is five minutes away fro...

  To make a delicious bread pudding in a crockpot, you'll need the following ingredients: 1 small loaf of bread (cut into pieces) 2 1/2 cups whole milk 1/4 cup melted butter 1 cup granulated sugar (or sugar substitute) 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 4 eggs Instructions: In a bowl, whisk together milk, melted butter, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract. Add eggs to the bowl and whisk until well combined. Place bread pieces in the crockpot and pour the egg mixture over the bread, making sure the bread is saturated. Cook on low for 2.5 to 3 hours. You can add chocolate chips or other toppings like nuts or berries to the bread pudding before cooking. Some tips: Let it cool before serving, as it can be very hot and potentially burn your tongue. Christa: I have refrained from expressing certain thoughts, because I value the trait of NOT BEING JUDGMENTAL.  My preferred way of communicating is to listen to the other person, and try to understand, but not to condemn, not to judge.   There is the issue of certain values and practices that are a BIG part of the Democrat parties repertoire that I could NEVER VOTE for.  I am only going to touch on a couple of them. TRANSGENDERISM:  if Harris had won, I think we would still be in the midst of this tragedy.  I have no problem with adults making this decision, but children need to be protected from it.  It is criminal to remove the breasts or penis from a healthy child (under age 18), and many people who had this done are now several years older and full of regret. SUNDAY:  I got a LOT of sleep last night.  I felt fine until it was time to stand up for worship at the beginning of the service.  I just seemed to NOT have sufficient energy to stand, so I sat down for a good portion of it.  I agreed to go to lunch at the BIG DITCH with Carol, Glenda and Lori, but I felt a little shaky so I cancelled.  I spent the rest of the day at home.  Andrea messaged me and asked if I might want to go to BJ's with her, but I told her I better stay home because of the shakiness, even though it had gone away by then.   MONDAY the 16th:  Basically, I had a wasted at home because I did not have any energy.  I could have met up with Jan at the Y because the PA from United Healthcare came early and was not here long, but I just did not feel like going out.  I ran the dishwasher and made my bed and that is about all.  I played a lot of TEXT TWIST on my phone.  SUNDAY:   Church was very good this morning.  Jan, Andrea and Glenda did not make it to church.  Before church started, Marlene told me that her daughter Christiana's male friend (Alex) has returned down south.  Just as church was ending, I went down to the kitchen to help Peggy set up for the CONNECT event.  I was in charge of the BASKET RAFFLE.  Unfortunately, not many of the attendees were interested in it.  After the meal and raffle, Peggy started the craft project.  It was mod podging flowers, leaves and butterflies onto a glass jar.  When I got home, I struggled the bins out to the road.  With all of the snow, this was not all that easy.  I spent the rest of the day at home, resting and watching television.   MONDAY:  I wrapped up a few things that involved phone calls in the morning. I called SPECTRUM and complained about my bill going up ten dollars.  They took it down to five dollars increase....

SUNDAY February 1st:   I took Andrea's laundry over to her before going to church and she gave me another bag of stuff to wash and dry.  I was a bit early for church, and talked with Marlene in the lobby until the earlier service ended.  After church, Marlene, Linda and I went to LaPorts for lunch.  I had the turkey dinner, and brought about half of it home.   MONDAY the 2nd of February:  I got up somewhat earlier than usual and got ready for my day.  I had made a list of things I needed to do and it helped a lot.  First, I tried to reach Andrea to work out a time to drop off her clean clothing.  I left a message.  First I went to NorthWest Bank and caused the check from Dr. Schler.  Then I went to the Kenan Center and turned in my vouchers for the free tickets to THE LITTLE PRINCE.  Then I went to the Dollar Tree for a couple of items I needed, and then to Panera for a drink and then to my chiropractic appointment, a...
